I don't have insurance and the pain is so overwhelming I could die. Sometimes I have to spend says in bed until the pain subsides. Quoting: natasha77 My question is, is there anything natural I can take to ease the pain??? Colloidal silver works for me, I also take Tumeric and Astaxanthin they seems to help some too. |

Veranidae User ID: 26743899 United States 11/15/2012 07:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to www.wmur.com] Having lived along our seacoast, where it first arrived as it progressed from Lyme, CT in roughly 2000, I can tell you in no uncertain terms, this disease is a nightmare. It appears to affect everyone differently, can be difficult to detect, and can be equally as difficult to treat. For the longest time, our local medical community, representatives, and insurance companies were in almost complete denial regarding its existence. It had to spread like wildfire before anyone began to take notice. I'm convinced, having researched the matter thoroughly, that we have the now-infamous Plum Island Bio Warfare Lab (or whatever it's been rebranded as) to thank. The disease is nothing new. Our government invited loads of Nazi scientists into the US following WWII, including Erich Traub, an expert on biological warfare vectors. And compliments of their sloppy protocols, Lyme Disease happened to make the short trip across the bay to the mainland. God knows what else has been released. I'm not sure what advice to offer, except to keep networking with others. Return to this post often if you can. I'll be interested in reading about the success you have managing this. I often suspect I may have it myself but have never been tested. |

It has to be transmissible by air? Saliva? What? How did we all get it? He knew he got bit but we did not get bit by anything. IGENICS blood test all came back positive. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14553694 I am sorry that you and your family tested positive for Lyme disuse my husband suffered with the disease approximately 6 years ago and we now practice a first step approach being that we live in are area heavily populated with deer. I took Colloidal Silver after finding a tick trying to burrow into my wrist and give to my dogs if a tick has been found on one of them and the past two years they have tested Lyme disease free. Also Dr. Horowitz, MD, Hyde Park, NY. The Hudson Valley has the highest Lyme disease concentration in the country. Horowitz is still in practice. Burrascano just trains other docs. Good luck. |

Several antibiotics can be involved in a "pulsed" dosing protocol., Check out their research. Some of it is available on line. Untreated or improperly treated Lyme can be devastating. I've been there all the way up to dementia and by the grace of God I am well. |

Saddletramp User ID: 736749 Puerto Rico 11/15/2012 10:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My wife just got diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease, currently inactive and has seemingly never crossed her blood brain barrier, even though she has probably had it for twenty plus years. Quoting: Saddletramp Her symptoms have been persistent for years and years, though relatively mild compared to some people. She's been very lucky really, some people get severe dementia from this shit... Anyway, she gets to start a six month run of oral antibiotics, and if that doesn't get it, they run a central line and give IV antibiotics for another three months (which would totally suck). The treatment is hard, and hard on you, but I hear from people who have beaten Lyme Disease, it's well worth it... Make sure she takes pro-biotics! Yeah she's gonna be so sick of yogurt and acidophilus by the time this is over... My wife's Lyme Disease has seemed to be most sensative to Amoxicillin of all things. Damn near killed her though, it started killing bacteria so fast it made her toxic as hell, fever, so sore she could barely move, but we cut the Antibiotic a little and started giving her Bentonite Clay and now she feeling better and back to full dose of antibiotics...
