The civil war was in no way, shape, or form close to what we are experiencing today. You just can't make that argument and expect people (outside of GLP) to take you seriously.

Obviously the economy isn't doing well, and people are hitting the bottom of the barrel. But guess what? America has seen worse, and been in worse situations and they got out of them stronger than ever. Have some faith, do your part, enjoy life, and good things will happen to you.
