If they (either or both) never received Jesus as the Controller of their life (or lives), then the soul goes to hell. That applies to you and me and everyone else.
They had no excuse for rejecting the Lord, so if they did not believe Jesus was the Great I AM, then they died in their sins. Jesus died to save you, me and them. Whether we accept or reject Him is our own choice. There has been no public declaration that either was saved; " by their fruits, you will know them."-----nothing I have ever read or heard about either of them indicates that they even cared to live a life acceptable to the Lord.
