I have a question for all of you who encourage an obviously troubled woman to continually humiliate herself on this board. How does it feel, really, to be such a low life? You guys are even more messed up than she is.Quoting: LaniJane
She's going to humiliate herself no matter what. The best thing that could happen is a BANE or mods just erase any thread she makes while sauced. I doubt a mod wants to watch for that all the time.
You're right, of course. It just sucks that so many people seem to derive such pleasure from her pain. They mock her, and she's too fucked up to even recognize it as such.
LaniJane - I agree with your sentiments about how other people can seem to gain entertainment from Kate's obvious suffering. There is something else though - Kate is receiving attention from these bottom feeders. Albeit, bad attention - it is still attention and if you know about Kate's story, you know she's been through hell and is lonely. I wish there was more we could do for her, and that there was some way to show her she is more deserving and better than the negative attention she gets here.
I think after years of Kate terrorism on GLP we can't help but get entertainment from her crap.
We offered compassion, we offered our good advice and even our caring love. She continually refuses help from friends and her own family, she has nobody to blame but herself for her problems at this point.
It's her choice to do this to herself, nobody buys her boxed wine and makes her post her embarrassing threads about Rick punching her in the face and blowing men in her hot tub in exchange for ski-doos.
Kate's serious time is over, has been over for years here at GLP. She frequents other forums seeking more people to show her compassion but here at GLP she is an on-going joke.
Sorry Kate, well no, not really.
