The ONLY hope of escape is for the pilots to take off HARD, bank left or right IMMEDIATELY and climb as hard and as fast as their aircraft can manage until they're above 23000 feet. (Upper end range on these things is 20k feet!) A hard "emergency climb" at full throttle will burn fuel like crazy, but better to burn more fuel than to leave the plane and passengers at risk even one additional second that could be avoided. This is a HORROR. Who on earth put these things in the MUZZIE HANDS, anyway? |
