Most American men under 40 will be drafted for the coming war

With a few exceptions, most men under the age of 40 will be drafted for the coming war. There exists a subset of the population that will not be drafted as their occupation, or formal education, will allow them to enter into reserved occupations; those holding graduate degrees in a STEM field will not be permitted to serve in the military [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] . So, if you chose to slack off and major in liberal arts in college, you can write to the rest of us while bullets are whizzing by your hooch.

Now, if you are a current student and hope to delay service until you finish your degree, you're shit out of luck buddy: "...college senior[s] may postpone his [their] induction for the remainder of the academic year.
