In that case, enlist proactively and try to be an officer The game during war time is rigged If you're a drafted grunt, you are the lowest form of cannon fodder...you'll get sent where no one willingly wants to go If you enlist, if you get trained, if you are on the "officer" track, you get a little more control over your life IF there is a war (this is still conjecture) and IF the US gets dragged into it...then yes, you would rather be an officer than enlisted/drafted
