Very soon. Quoting: Elyahu lies OP, I respect your views, but I know what I'm talking. Just wait and see, my best wishes for you. A violent, flesh-eating form of Judaism based on bloody animal sacrifice became the dominant religion in Israel. The nonviolent, vegetarian Essenes were persecuted by the animal sacrifice cult. Both forms of Judaism expected a Messiah: the sacrificial cult expected the Messiah to be a warrior king; the Essene Nazarenes expected a Messiah of Peace, a spiritual King. And so it was that the Messiah of Peace, the spiritual King of Israel, came to earth through the Essenes; for it was the Essene scriptures and prophecies that proved true. And so it was that the Essene Nazarene Jews, practitioners of the authentic Judaism established by God through Enoch and Moses, BECAME THE VERY FIRST CHRISTIANS!" |

The blood-sacrificial forms of Judaism are based in Paganism, by which early Jews were very strongly influenced. Babylonian Jews were those who were carried away into captivity and then chose to stay voluntarily. The Talmud is basically Babylonian Judaism. The Essenes were also anti-slavery. |

I no longer look, nor wait, for one. There simply isn't a man coming to save you. God lives within you, not in another human being for you. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8545334 He won't be a man, the second time. "Every eye shall see him." So, he's going to be something much bigger than a mere mortal. |

Blood sacrificing Judaism is really a back-slide back into the Paganism which Abraham rejected when he substituted a lamb for the Human sacrifice of his own son. Unfortunately, formal Judaism with all of its priesthood, strict rituals, symbolism, etc. -- became too easily obsessed with the ~substitute, because they couldn't completely extricate themselves from Pagan practices. The lamb substitute was supposed to have been just a wake-up call to the people, symbolic of the future incarnate Christ whose blood was shed on Calvary. But instead, the Jewish priests encouraged fire altars to be raised everywhere and used for burnt offerings. Then later, the priests turned around and ~outlawed personal altars, making it required for all offerings to be handled by the temple priests themselves. Solomon, who built the most lavish Jewish temple, was no paragon of morality. |

Solomon, who built the most lavish Jewish temple, was no paragon of morality. At least one of the more pious Jewish prophets (I forget which, but maybe Elijah), raised all kinds of heck over the fact that the fire altars were being used to make burnt offerings to Baal, Molech, and other Pagan gods. It seems that most Jewish people throughout history, had great difficulty separating themselves from Paganism. Isaiah also railed against their Pagan practices, and was hunted down and eventually killed while hiding from the mob in a hollow tree. |
