You are correct in placing amphetamines at the top of the list.

I would put high-proof ethanol next, then antibiotics.

The amphetamines are more or less wonderdrugs, and this is the shit you will want when things get really bad.

Amphetamines work as anti-depressants, painkillers, blood-thinners and an anti-inflammatory. Plus they will allow you to max out your physical capabilities if needed. Even if your party is hungry, tired, and cold, a little shot of speed will instantly boost moral and physical ability. Dextroamphetamine sulfate ie Dexedrine, is what you want. You will be able to trade this shit for anything, you can now anyway and it will only be more valuable after things go south.

Iodized salt is the cheapest supply to store for barter and will be needed by everyone to preserve food. Unless people live near the ocean, there's little chance of harvesting it without mining.

Other items are not as useful or needed only under medical conditions. Not everyone can afford (at this late stage of the game)to prepare, and so you must prioritize how you spend money for bartering versus food supplies for your family. You always must have a barter supply as trade will be an essential aspect of post-collapse situations.

Particularly Hershe's plain chocolate bars. They virtually have no expiration date (which are 90% bullshit anyway)

Chocolate will however turn somewhat whitish when exposed to moisture.

If you pack a dozen Hershe bars in an air tight can, they'll still be good 25 years from now.

Did you know aloe vera can be grown from seed? It might make a sort of cottage industry to start aloe plants for trade or sale. A useful skill set is handy. Learn about reflux still design and operation. If you can run a batch of 80% alcohol you youself are a comodoty. Or, you can make alcohol for barter.
