Then as I looked up at the night sky, a whole bunch of stars / planets lined up, then a line shot straight through them all highlighting the "celestial opening" it seemed to tell me. Next I was watching some sort of Egyptian queen looking very pleased. Sounded right up GLP alley.

Because----OUR SUN IS IN A BINARY WITH SIRIUS! The 'Egyptian Queen' was definitely standing beside someone... I think a man, maybe a king. I was pretty enthralled by the Queen - she was beautiful.
