OP dude: Their is no guarantee God will spare people from this pain, or pain in general. If your premise was correct, the 1st century believers would not have suffered death by Nero. Also those who died in the catacombs would have lived without the pain of nakedness and starvation. Plus people can not choose to be saved. This effort starts with God, God draws those who are destined to salvation. There is no such thing as free will. It is a man made doctrine.
