They are now saying it hit the DRONE runway, when we all saw it on 98!!! so Hwy 98 is their drone hwy now???

Last I heard, the reason they were grounded previously was because of some appoxy giving off fumes at high altitude that affected the pilots.

They fixed that though didn't they?

The airforce says it was pilot error. Only his second flight and was doing a touch and go, didnt get enough thrust and skidded off the end of the runway.

I love the compassion in this group. Secondly, I love how everyone has diagnosed the problem/cause from their computers thousands of miles away. Wonderful.

Bridge still closed and they are saying it will remain that way, interesting considering they are now saying it didnt hit 98..... so which is it ? debris in road or not ? if not why keep it closed??

In California we have been having a lot of odd road closures due to overturned big rigs. Certainly a lot easier and cheaper to close a stretch of freeway for a few hours.

I would never imagine what point there would be to intentionally bring down a F-22 on a freeway.

Is military air traffic over a highway common there?

We just had a blackhawk circle overhead in Fullerton California yesterday was odd. Was unarmed though.
