This is not about them defending themselves. You need to look at the bigger picture.

That's what we've been conditioned to believe. These rocket attacks are mostly Mossad operations to justify an Israeli offensive. They've successfully whittled Palestine down to its bones but will not rest until they've been wiped off the map. That is the bigger picture. Well, if that is what you believe, there is nothing left I have to say.  I respect that you didn't attack me for having this opinion. It's been going on for years. You should give the possibility some thought, you might find that it explains a lot.
