Cause they don't want to upstage the election. Now it is done and dusted anything goes.

Common sense suggests they wanted Rmoney to win because he was willing to pull the trigger himself

If Israel took action BEFORE the election, it could be read into that Israel was trying to influence the U.S. election by putting pressure on the sitting President (Obama, in this case) to take a stand in support or against Israel's actions, which would affect a certain segment of the American population (jews and neocons; also anti-war people).

This won't be country versus country. It'll be the usual Israel vs. Gaza & Hamas, and possibly Hezbollah in the north (southern Lebanon).

This will be Obama's war.

And he will fail.

Since Israel knows that only Romney would have supported them in pre-emptively attacking Iran, they have figured out the moves of a chess game - since they could never have attacked Iran alone, without the USA, and survived, even for a couple of days.

The Israeli scheme is to use their attacks on Gaza, and they have made these attacks before, as a 'springboard.'

Unlike prior Israeli attacks on Gaza, which the world community virtually ignored -- THIS TIME is different.

This time, the Muslim Brotherhood is ruling Egypt. This time there are other Arab nations who realize that radical Islamists within their own borders could topple them.

Israel is betting, very smart these pseudo-Jews...

Israel is betting that these Gaza attacks THIS TIME will set off a firestorm within the Arab world... that Israel will be attacked big time in revenge.

That will make America enter the fray on their behalf, whether Obama wants to do it or no. America is 'obligated' to defend Israel under these circumstances.

Although hundreds of Israelis may die in the first wave of these Arab attacks, this is JUST WHAT NETANYAHU WANTS.

After that, he will be free to bomb Iran, with conventional or even nuclear weapons, and the U.S. will provide him with cover.

That Pilgrim is a well thought out scenario. I would think something along those lines also. In fact of all the posting on this subject as to this coming conflagration....It could well be the real reason Israel was created for. I have always believed to some extent that this country was created to be destroyed as it seems it has always been an impass to peace.
Of all the posting on this subject on all the threads on the whole Mid-East conflict. Far too many people see this whole charade as a match between two opposing teams, but sadly it means a lot of innocent human beings are going to be snuffed out ere this ends.
There are no winners in this MATCH, and no local, or etheral deity is going to save us............
So it would be safe to say on a conspiracy site....DOOM ON.
I think I will say a few real prayers to my own Deity tonight for the women, and children of Gaza in particular...
