Early humans were already using stone tips to enhance the killing power of spears at least 500,000 years ago-guess they were hunting fruit.whatever

Soy formula causes Hispanic infants to start puberty, in the first few years of their life ..

Oddly there is fast food fillers of soy in every fast food restaurant .. go into the hood and there is a fast food restaurant on every corner .. and 10 year old girls walking around looking like women ..

Hmmmmm .. wonder why? ..

Soy is no good ..

I do love edamames though :)

Holy shit, is that why 8 year old girls in Peru were growing breasts back in the eighties?
 Quoting: 1nf1del

Seeing as it is their cheapest form of protein in their diet .. I would assume that would be a yes .. On top of the fact they were pretty vegetarian centuries ago .. and started depending on soy (fillers) more recently!

Even though you were being sarcastic!

Sorry, not enough coffee, lil bitchy .. you think? ;)

It isn't the straight soy bean .. it is something to do with the modification ..

I have Asian family, and I have Hispanic family .. and I work(ed) in traditional medicine .. so this is what I have seen ..

Babies that are hispanic and switched to soy formula, have a high incidence rate to develop breasts, pubic hair, etc .. male and female

.. and this is something I also picked up as a theory in school, and confirmed in medicine .. I don't know if it's documented ..

My Asian family eats (me too) soy beans, makes soy milk from beans, I even have a powder base that is made from soy beans and I use it almost like flour .. and I don't see any prepubescent problems in them ..

Check this out .. never knew this .. the aluminum? ..

Dr. Mercola - "Soy formula is one of the worst foods that you could feed your child. Not only does it have profoundly adverse hormonal effects as discussed above, but it also has over 1000% more aluminum than conventional milk based formulas. It is becoming increasingly common for young children, even 5- and 6-year-olds, to go through precocious puberty (aka early sexual development). The introduction of this report even states that studies have found girls as young as 2 years old entering puberty! This is clearly a multi-faceted problem, but I believe one of its main causes stems from your environmental exposure to a whole slew of endocrine-disrupting chemicals. Even the conservative US government has recognized that soy formula is a potent endocrine disruptor ...

Great stuff OP!

I wish to become a RAW vegetarian aswell. I'm thinking of going on a spiritual journey to Australia and it would be also easier to get the raw food I need for the diet.

Here's a song from Stic Man's great motivational hip-hop album " Workout ". He's a vegan and practices martial arts. Listen to the lyrics and i suggest you download the album if you like hip-hop and healthy living. ;)

[youtube] [link to www.youtube.com]

Also you could check out user : thedurianking on youtube for great info on this stuff.

And there are plenty of Raw vegan athletes ;) Don't be ignorant meat eaters. Study your facts, like with every other information that you have to question.

Peace & Love everyone!

It really is surprising to me that nobody has done a study on it! Look at the increase in Autism, something like a 300% increase in the last thirty years, COPD, kidney disease, younger stroke victims, it goes on and on! Something is causing the increases we are seeing in these things!

I agree with Laura on this

The vegan/vegetarian lifestyle is being pushed by monsanto and big GM firms. The idea is to get people off meat and into GM grown beans/corn

watch as price of meat will keep rising.

Also Google Moringa, it's a plant that makes you infertile. They plan to plant large amounts of it in Africa for people to eat.

You're right about this, Monsanto is heavily into modified soy and corn, eek!

WHAT? There is NO reference to Moringa in my response, you're thinking of the person who I am responding to. My comment was referring to the fact that we have GM beans/corn which is being pushed. I have no idea what Moringa is nor care to, but the only ass is you.

HUMANS ARE NOT PHYSICALLY CREATED TO EAT REFINED CARBOHYDRATES. SOME PEOPLE GET TYPE 2 DIABETES FROM EATING TOO MANY REFINED CARBOHYDRATES AND HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO ADD MEAT INTO THEIR DIET OR THEY WOULD HAVE VERY LITTLE TO EAT.

I CAN ASSURE YOU HUMANS ARE GENETICALLY ADAPTED TO EAT MEAT.

Re: How humans are not physically created to eat meat
I've cut my animal protein consumption at least 50% in the last 10 years and am in noticeably better condition than when eating average levels of meat. I now consider myself vegetarian as I get most of my protein from eggs, dairy and fish, with small amounts of red meat occasionally.

I suppose it's the fact meat makes the blood acidic, which has to be buffered by critical minerals robbed from various organs and muscles. It also requires much "energy" to digest which has to be diverted from other critical body functions. I don't go full vegan because I do believe in balance, but do credit the move away from heavy meat consumption for much improved overall health, while noticing other people my age falling prey to various ills.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27738226

That is not vegetarian.

But this is exactly what I have been reading lately.
many hours reading about health.
You are very close to the main points here.
Constant meat barrage is bad for the body.
I do love meats. Unfortunately gonna have to cut out allot of them.

You said: B12 is also found in lakes, before the water is sanitized. Also, consider that chimpanzees' main non-plant food is termites, and termites are loaded with B12.

And what are insects made out of? Fruit, Vegetables? Grains?

No meat.

Why would humans eat meat if they were herbivores? Do you see cattle going out and hunting up dead meat? No, they go for the veg. Same for the rest of the herbivores.

Yes cattle are fed meat - That is not them being left to their own devises.

Sorry OP, I do not agree.

While I do think eating a good variety of fruits and veggies is important - meat is as well. When I was pregnant with my 2nd son I became anemic and my doctor said I needed to eat more red meats. I did, and it got better very quickly. Protein is important too, and yes it can be found in other foods, but meat is a good source.

And, health stuff aside - you're going to be hard-pressed to find too many people who would give up meat, me included. While I still am not the biggest fan of red meats, I love chicken, and ham. No way would I give it up.
