The semi was carrying vets, spouses and local sponsors. No info on how many were on the flatbeds. There were 2 semi's. The first went across the tracks and supposedly slowed or stopped. The second truck was on the tracks when the crossing arms came down, and one witness reported that it hit some of the people. Within seconds, the witness said the train hit the flatbed. Witnesses estimated the train was moving at about 55 mph.

I agree - anyone local who can donate blood will be helping greatly.

This is a community-supported event, where spouses are treated to many fun activities while the vets are taken to a private ranch to go deer hunting...hence the name, Hunt for Heroes. Everyone here is in total shock! My prayers go out to everyone impacted by this horrible tragedy.
