loneliness is a state of mind. Have love in your heart. Its there from your inner spirit and with that realization the loneliness goes.

Oh please that doesn't help someone feeling lonely at all! You think lonely people don't have love in their heart - of course they do!

I do not know you but I guarantee you that you are an amazing creation that just needs to find their calling. I lived and cared for a farm for years after a personal tragedy and was so lost and lonely, but..... there comes a time for all to shine,open your heart and great things can happen. Anytime you would ever feel the need to talk , I'm able to be reached at Gabriels earthquake thread,and have good ears,you're not alone!

I know loneliness more than most, or I am saying that to satisfy my own sadness. I was an only child with a mom who worked all the time. I remember for Christmas when my mom would work all day, I turned on the all the lights, and played music loud, and I was like 12, and I never felt so lonely. For dinner, I had a frozen pizza. I hate the holidays because of it.

Now I am 29, and all alone. I have three main friends who are all over 300 miles from me. My other friends are married, have kids, and I am a third wheel.

I guess this is the life God has planned. I am going to start volunteering at Hospice, and I want to start playing the ukulele. So we'll see if that helps my loneliness.

I wish I was lonely, Id have a whiskey and coke while I take a long hot baths, Watch what I want when I want and go where I want to go. Id write a book, and take my time and eat steak and ice cream and spend four months at my fishing cabin instead of the usual two weeks. Why is life always greener on the other side?

Also good movie is Amelie...she's very alone, and seems pretty satisfied, and finds others just as lonely as her.

drink rotgut booze by the liter, listen to awful cowboy music, and then post 80s anime level of incomprehensibility threads here. that always seems to help
