I went out to take a piss and stare into the night sky...like I normally do.

And it looks like a firefly but bigger and in the upper atmosphere. It's like a plane but not. I mean it's all over the place. Zig Zag.

OP I just went outside to take the trash out and I saw the exact same thing here in St. Louis. My wife and I watched them for about 15 minutes and we couldn't figure out what they were. Strange

At first I thought just a plane...because I live near the airport. And see them frequent.

But this was so high up. So I thought well it's passing over our airport.

Then it had one or two maybe 3 lights. Different brightnesses. And then I seen. Not moving straight.

Zig zag.

Like a giant firefly. But obviously not. Well unless it came from The Mist. lol

Also I want to add the rate of speed. Umm...pretty damn fast to be that high up...and move around in that pattern.

I gauge it comparable to a lightning bug flying in front of you.

Only bigger and farther and faster. And more than one light.

Nope. I know airplanes, military jets, commercial aircraft, personal aircraft, weather balloons and yes the Northern Lights.

Not any of those.

And then I though...why it's just a shooting star.

And then I realized I was making up excuses to what it really was.

Obviously...it was something someone thought up. lol I have no idea.

I'm in SoCal I also live near the airport and the El Toro marine base. I saw odd lights in the sky tonight. Just two right next to each other very bright but not moving. Also very high up in the sky.

But there are obviously more than one. Several in various areas of the sky.

Don't know if they are all the same. But I seen at least three.

Omg op I just witnessed the same thing at the same time with a friend who confirmed I was not crazy! Bright flickering light looked like a star not moving in a straight line, not moving slowly like a star, or quick like a shooting star, but INBETWEEN an moving strangely.
