Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 14038453 United States 11/15/2012 11:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Loss of 18000 jobs. Quoting: tandym Can't say I am happy about it exactly -- but its what the union bosses deserve. Wonder how many of the workers will actually realize that it was the UNION that doomed them to bread lines and soup kitchens? JUST CURIOUS HOW SO? Because the unions talked them into not backing down... because they insisted that the company was holding back .... The workers demanded $25-$35 an hour (twinkie inspectors checking the 'cream' level of the twinkies... $35 an hour for THAT?), better health and full retirement. The company said they couldn't afford it and the union convinced them to strike. |

I'm gonna buy a Twinkie and a Ding Dong, for olde times sake. I'll wait to eat them when the business is closed and gone though, kinda like a suicide pill. When Twinkies go, so shall I. Who does your thinking? |
