3-years ago I got banned for the exact same thread title.
I was scolded and told to be more positive.

But yeah, we will either die or live.
If we die, what is there to worry about?

We're not all going to die eventually. It seems like many of us die like in a nuclear holocaust very very soon, sooner then most realize.

i mean, surely, you can't actually BE that blind, can you, not to see what is right in front of your eyes?

we won't ALL die, but there won't be many of us left, and I doubt many if any of us lot here will make it. I hope i'm wrong about that though.

Sad to say many are that blind. They won't believe until they see with their very own eyes the mushroom cloud exploding right in front of them or the mountains from heaven crashing into the earth. Sad really.

Not exactly a call-out, but... I take your point. Understand that it was not meant to scare; this is something that, as you say, we should all know, and should have all taken into account. It is said that some of us have already done so... there is no fear here.

Time is short... there is no getting around that. Perhaps this warning is also given in love; perhaps it is something that should be considered. If you do not find your resurrection here, now, you may not find it at all. If you do not rise above that which holds you to the earth, you will never 'ascend' above it, or resurrect... you will 'die' in your 'sins' (mistakes... missing the mark of 'perfection'), and this is the truth.

There is nothing wrong with a good story, but if you are not LIVING your story... it is still only a pretty lie. For those of you who have been busy living pretty lies, the end of the story will come, and that right quickly. For those of you who have dreamed a story that you could actually LIVE... by word and by deed... your stories will continue on, because they were worth telling again, and again...

As with 'love,' my friend... there is nothing at all wrong with 'love,' as long as you are able to LIVE it, and not just TELL it. At that point, it is no more than a story (sometimes grand... sometimes quite tawdry, depending on the storyteller), and only the 'love' that was actually given LIFE will live on. All else will die, as it had no life within it...

It is good sometimes to stop, and think about the consequences of our storytelling... if we're still looking for a happy ending. It's not too late...

My mom is 83 and living well, doing well... My dad died in '96 of cancer...
I hope I still have my mom for many years, or she has me... But none of us can know the time and day...
So my point is, why not ponder the moment, our intention, what do we chose (in the areas where there is a real choice)
I have seen people in the middle of wars chose love and peace, and people living protected lives chosing fear and violence...
This is not about doom, i know no of such things... Actually i have told in more threads that doom is canceled...
Doom or no-doom we still have to ponder how we act and how we interact/relate...
