Every "fulfilled prophecy" I've seen is a post-hoc interpretation: something happened and people suddenly realized that if you read the prophecy in very a specific way (for instance, locusts meaning modern day gunship helicopters), you can think that it predicted the event.

I can quote Nostradamus and say that this quatrain clearly describes the 9/11 events. Does it mean that Nostradamus predicted 9/11? No it doesn't. It just means the he wrote something so non-specific and vague, that I can make it fit almost any event I choose. It's the same thing with the Bible prophecies.
