The christians support israel because they think that it fulfills the end times bible prophecy about israel being brought back to its homeland just before christ returns, then Jesus will come back and all the Jews will realize that he was their messiah all along, and then, after armageddon, all the christians and jews will live together under the reign of messiah Jesus as one in the new jerusalem come down from heaven.
