That's just a Keynesian bit of idiocy instilled in people's minds by the school system and news. If you could fix the economy just by creating jobs, then you could just pay people to spin in circles for 8 hours a day and the world would be saved. That's silly. What actually fixes the economy is by producing more value with less work, that is improving efficiency. Amazon makes things much more efficient, it's part of the solution, not the problem. |
