Are Internet companies like amazon.com causing the economy to go to shit?

Internet is changing our reality and the ways we do bussiness.
If you don't adapt you go down.

It isn't companies that are changing our economy, it is Internet and it was predicted a time ago.

Internet is cheaper, less employees.

well honestly the way I live, malls and shit aren't open past 9. And most people don't find the time to go to malls and stuff anymore if you ask me. So the internet is like a 24/7 mall. I really don't understand why they don't stay open later.

The economy is not improved by "creating jobs". That's just a Keynesian bit of idiocy instilled in people's minds by the school system and news.

If you could fix the economy just by creating jobs, then you could just pay people to spin in circles for 8 hours a day and the world would be saved.

That's silly. What actually fixes the economy is by producing more value with less work, that is improving efficiency.

Amazon makes things much more efficient, it's part of the solution, not the problem.
