I have no sympathy for these people. Idiot Union members standing around outside with signs, holding an already struggling company hostage. Now they can start standing in the unemployment line.
Quoting: JennOfArc The union members are at fault? Sure about that? Do you know ANYTHING about the upper management of Hostess? Obviously, you know shit...read on... "Rayburn announced that the pay of the four top executives would go down to $1 for the year, but that their full salaries would be reinstated no later than Jan. 1. Hostess pays Rayburn $125,000 a month, according to court filings. At the same time Rayburn became CEO, Gephardt's son Matthew, 41, the COO of the Gephardt Group, was put on the Hostess board as a $100,000-a-year independent director." [ link to management.fortune.cnn.com] Quoting: JackedVegan Do you really think that companies pay their CEOs lots of money just for the sake or writing large checks, or that they hate the blue collar guys? Are you really that ignorant of economics? CEOs make that amount of money because not many people can run a company that size. Obviously in the case of hostess the CEO should have been making $0 since the company went bust, but CEOs of profitable companies earn their pay. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27582562 That sounds great, and all, except Hostess was paying them $125K A MONTH, after going BANKRUPT!! Ignorant, Quoting: JackedVegan
