The kids play video games because of score and friends. They can beat friends or scores and that is the main goal. It has nothing to do with real life. I am sure some of these kids take the games to heart and actually learn how to react in situations from the game. But it is probably a minority. Most of the kids that play these types of games are just for the fun. Not for a type of reality horror show. If they knew the reality of going out into battle and dying. No respawn. I am sure they would not wanna play anymore. Video games have always been fake reality. For fun. If you take it too seriously then your a fucked up individual. And you shouldn't be playing these types of games. Because reality is allot worse than any game could come up with. |

Don't tell me that army games don't inspire kids to join the army. My cousin is also a good example. He's an 8 year old and he plays shooters as well as sports games. Talking to him is like talking to a fat pig. The kid is dumber then a sack of potatoes. It's sad to say since I love him, but all he thinks about is playing fake shooting, but at the same time his smart side comes out since I taught him to think a little about things and to question everything. I've seen kids drenched in these shooters and their brains become like goo. Nothing there and no emotion. Just mention the parents that just raise their child infront of tvs with shooters one after the other. All the kid will think about is shooting things. I'd rather kids play with plastic guns and shoot soft sponge things at each other then sit infront of a tv all day and shoot at things while blood comes out. It's not good for their brains and you know kids suck things in like sponges. They learn more when they are little then when they are big. |

I play it for the competition. I can play against anyone in the world at anytime of the day or play with them as teammates. I think people are over reacting to the violence, 150 years ago people would shoot each other on the streets and it was nothing to see a dead body laying around. It is OK for the media to show fighting and rioting in the streets of other countries and pictures of our dead ambassadors, and people get upset with a video game.
