I find it concerning that so many posters seem to view this conflict as a war between religions. The Israelis and Palestinians are not fighting because of their beliefs but for territory. The fact that one side are Jews and the other Muslims is irrelevant. The point is the illegal occupation of land. This fact is endorsed by the UN who have repeatedly requested that Israel desist from it's invasion of Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, both the USA and the UK backing these demands.

Brief, do you honestly believe that every person of the Muslim faith is out to kill you? I have to say that, as far as I know, one has never made an attempt on my life. Again the mistake is assuming that all followers of that religion are murderous zealots. Are we, today, the same Christians who went on crusades to convert heathens to Christianity? Who murdered, raped and pillaged in the name of God? Did we not have exactly the same attitude? Destroy those who do not believe in Jesus, Mary and the holy trinity? The only difference is that now we have more destructive weapons. This is a redundant debate; you will maintain your opinion and I mine.
