I just started raising chickens and it hasn't cost me a penny yet. All the eggs I have gotten are free. They are free range and don't need supplemented food yet. They will need some when the snow flies however.

Yes - EBT is only down in the states that JP Morgan services. They service 35 states, and they provide many more services for those states than EBT - including social security payments and government payroll processing, among other things.

These states/protectorates include: AK, AR, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, Guam, HI, ID, IN, KY, NE, NV, NH, NM, NY, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, UT, VT, Virgin Islands, WA, WV, WY

Same story here in PA. I was going to get my EBT card today because I was diagnosed with parsonage turner syndrome and cannot work anymore because it effected my left arm rendering it useless. Cannot move it, bend it lift it or anything, cannot even button my own shirts or tie my shoes anymore. I am only 27 but worked since I was 17 with my hands in the trades, real kick in the balls this was I am just lucky it is my left arm and not my right as I am right handed.
