OP, just trying to rule out things so I'm not trying to debunk...I want to know what this thing is, if we can eliminate some things, we may get an answer....

On searching Google for 'Cylinder Satellite', here is what I got:

1) 2011: Japan sent a Cylinder Spacecraft up in 2011 to the space station. Could it be the remains of this??

Read article & See Pic: [link to www.foxnews.com]

2) 2011: The Tiangong-1 (Heavenly Palace-1) unmanned space lab prototype is scheduled to blast off in early September as a test-bed for experiments related to space rendezvous.

There are other pics that show a few more cylinder shaped Satellites and space debris...

OP, If possible, we need a clearer picture of what this could be. If it is stationary and is seen on a number of occasions in the same place, then is most likely space debris or Satelites...

After the supplies were unloaded, Kounotori 2 was loaded with waste material from ISS, including used experiment equipment and used clothes. Kounotori 2 was then unberthed and separated from the ISS and burned up upon reentering the atmosphere on 30 March 2011.

Yep it could be the Tiangong-1, which flies around 100 Km below the ISS orbit, but the problem is that the Chinese station is just a 10 meter-long module and I doubt it would appear as long as the object in the pictures, that I assume is over 10 mile-long.

Thanks for adding the extra information....

What you got to take into account as well is the sunlight hitting this, I presume metal object...

The Sunlight is going to reflect of metal and depending on the angle of the Sun, could reflect the light and make it appear to be bigger than what it is, hence the glowing look of it...

What looks like a 10 mile object could be indeed just a 2-5ft or bigger object, With the Sun at an angle, the Sun light would bounce of this thing and reflect it past the edge of it...

Don't forget too, Cameras & Videos pick up the flaring of Sunlight a lot which could also make a metal object seem bigger than what it is....

The only way we can find out what this object is, is to get a clearly video showing more detail...
