Abu Obeida, spokesman for the Hamas militant wing, told The Associated Press that a rocket fired about 50 miles from Gaza to the West Bank settlement of Gush Etzion, just outside Jerusalem, was a new weapon made in the Palestinian territory called an M-75. “We are sending a short and simple message: There is no security for any Zionist on any single inch of Palestine and we plan more surprises.”
