Looks a lot like a simple vulcano going off, with some special effects and lights slapped on to it.

If you watch closely you can notice the flowing lava more then once.

Maybe because often lava flows more than once?

To the contrary, I dont even think aliens are visiting Earth. But that does not mean I buy into your explanation, as I do have more than some experience with cameras, filming and video editing myself

very old video, and yes it has been determined what it was. it is lightning. it is a normal occurance in volcanic clouds and plumes. the lights moving horizontally along the bottom are cars. that is a highway, and the camera is shitty.

What about the huge constant orb of light that doesnt seem to move?
