These new high efficiency washing machines SUCK MAJOR BALLS! | |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 9143700 11/16/2012 11:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Had one sold w/house. Sucks... cleaner clothes if u wash by hand. Not enough water. If u don't do a load a day u/ better run a cycle w/bleach. If you are on vacation for a week-end you'll know what smells. They hold water in seal all the time. Need to buy new washer... getting a NON hi-effiency. |

Maybe some of the larger newer ones work better on heavy dirt. Leave the door open a little when not using it. I have never had any odor. Most of the savings is in the dryer. The clothes spin faster and are not as damp when removed. They do save some water. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 15235536 11/16/2012 12:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't see how I'm saving electricity or water if I have to wash the same load of clothes 3-4 times just to get the dirt out. I did a big load and it threw the machine off balance and broke something inside costing me 100+ to fix, and the stupid thing isn't even a year old. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25898128 I totally agree. I will be replacing mine. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 27678010 11/16/2012 12:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | spent extra for mine and regret it every day. It sounds like a jet lifting off and often breaks. We have a warrenty, but often dude can't get out to fix it for a week or so. I cannot wait to buy a new top loader, but can't waste the $$until I get more use of the pricey pos I have now. |

What happened to grandma's washing machine that worked great and never needed a repair? It's called China and American company's that figured a good product does't need replacing. Remember that tv your parents had for 20 years or the electric can opener grandma gave u from the 40's. It still works and the companys went under. |

The frontloaders take too damn long to wash and they fuck up a lot. The only good thing I can say about them is they wash my new balance shoes very well. But that's not enough to keep one. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 24599086 11/16/2012 12:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have an old Admiral washer and dryer that's about 30 years old - they look like hell but still work fine ! I've only had to replace some belts and a switch relay in all of the years I've had them. They definitely don't make them like they used to ! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24599086 They definitely don't make them like they used to ! hold off buying new as long as possible, because these new washers and dryers all suck. I've been reading nothing but terrible reviews on almost every brand for 2 days now. |
