Keep trying doctors or find a lower paying job. No such thing as legal without a doctor prescription. Best to find alternative ways to help it. Hanging upside down can sometimes help a nerve that is getting pinched. They have a machine that will stretch your lower back, sometimes relieving pain. That Tramadol is addictive and they should've taken you off slowly and not a just a complete stop. If it just happened, call the VA and tell them your going through a rough time since they stopped you cold turkey. Tell them this is a drug that needs to be taken off you slowly and your not able to get it.

As a medical prof for 25 years, I feel for you. Only the IGNORANT asses here are blasting your choice of analgesia. Tramadol is NONNARCOTIC and incredibly benign compared wtih the other stuff out there.

I know quite a few people that were on big pharma's pills and they had been on them so long that they built up a tolerance and had to keep taking more and more to get even a little relief. That all changed why they switched to MM. They were slowly able to ween themselves of the narcotics. They felt great since they weren't walking around in a fog or sleeping all the time. They have actually become more productive and some have been able to go back to work. It's quite amazing what one little plant can do...if you don't like smoking there are many alternative means to ingest...check out tinctures, candies, edibles, vaporizers, oils. In fact, eating is a much better method than smoking as it effects your body rather than your head. You'll also want to look for strains that are higher in CBD as this is the anti-inflammatory agent that helps with aches and pains and does not make you loopy.

Get a bottle of gin....get a box of golden raisins, (a little more expensive than the regular kind - about $2.80 per box).

Soak the raisins in the gin, (recommend using a shallow baking dish), for two weeks - until the gin is mostly evaporated and soaked into the raisins.

Take about nine per day.

Give this up to six weeks to work.

Worked for me in about a week or less.

BTW - been taking pain meds for arthritis and vertebral subluxation for almost six years....

I've been pain free for the past couple of weeks.

Will this cause drunkenness?

I've not had it affect me in the slightest. I'm pretty sensitive to alcohol and can't tolerate anything stronger than beer....also, I can't stand for anything to sedate me even slightly.....so, I hesitated with this thinking it would cause me problems.. I've been happily suprised that it doesn't affect me at all in that way.

Let me say, though....I've asked my husband to start trying them for pain....but he gets randomed at work and we both agreed that he should take them when he gets home from work, rather than before work, as I'm thinking it would show up on a drug test....

if the dish is left open during the soaking, the alcohol content will be near zero. it probably has more to do with the juniper oils and something in the golden raisins themselves than alky. assuming the raisins swell to even their original grape size, 9 a day would still be a very small amount of fluid. possibly a shot glass worth for the 9 raisins. it would seem highly unlikely that either drunkeness or failing a urine test would be possible.

Not in the fridge....put on your countertop or shelf. I put a dishtowel over the top andf open it every day or so to stir.

Some have said let them soak for a week. Others have said for two weeks.

I use the two week suggestion myself.

Tell the doctor that other drs prescribed you stuff that didn't work, but when u were prescribed this medicine it worked. Write the name down on a piece of paper and hand it to the doctor, the more dumb you look the better.

There are websites online to get it, just have to be very careful bc most are out to rip you off

no dont do that, some people have died from the poisons they put in those pills, heavy metals as filler, it's dangerous, and you could get arrested. I speak from experience.
