what spill is this? I'm no expert by any means, but if that's coming from a crack in the seafloor. it looks like a bad situation.

Anyone ever heard of the Biloxi salt dome? Apparently when BP capped the Deepwater Horizon well, the oil started spewing from the salt dome instead! Due to the high pressures involved the oil had to go somewhere and found it's way out there instead!!! I've been led to believe that the oil hasn't stopped to this day and is ongoing. Only concealed by the massive(highly toxic and banned in Europe)amounts of correxant they are dropping. If the oil was spread out on the surface, it would be the size of India!!!
I've seen reports that this nasty mix of oil and correxant is now flowing from the Gulf of Mexico into the Atlantic and is now affecting (or even stopped!!) the Gulf Stream.
This is a disaster of biblical proportion. Very sad days indeed. BP have been fined $4.5 billion? Big fucking deal! Nothing can undo what they have done!!

yeah, this is one huge event unfolding
not many separate events
even when bp happened
if everyone recalls there were OTHER spills happening in the area, too
just not as big
and many natural gas pipeline explosions in the region

there is something going on underground in the entire region
it's all connected
and occam's razor (you know, the argument shills use?) says that the simplest answer is most likely the correct one
and it makes FAR more sense that all the events, in the same region, are connected
than it makes that there have been a huge series of "isolated" events that are just "coincidences"
we've passed the point where the coincidence argument holds water

people need to start demanding answers

Well crap, I thought it meant new oil found for drilling, new jobs, cheaper gas, etc. Very disappointed.
