I'm almost sure doom is NOT on.
Waaaaay toooooo maaaany false alarms and over-excited posts of IDIOTS since the Japan Tsunami, and here we are, still standing.
The sky is still blue outside, and if you switch off our computer or just do not go online, you would not realize that ANYTHING is actually going on.
Because, the truth is.....there is no 2012 doom to speak of.
