... Whoa... So are you saying that this verse is saying no one is going to Hell? Quoting: Kamon Right, there is no hell-fire in the bible. Hell (English for the Greek Hades) is the common grave for all mankind where even Jesus was for three days until resurrestion. The 'lake of fire' means eternal destruction. "For he who has died has been acquitted from [his] sin." Ro6:7 Hell is not eternal it will be the destruction of the wicked. Hell is real. It is the real grave for everyone but the dead are not alive there; "For as respects whoever is joined to all the living there exists confidence, because a live dog is better off than a dead lion. 5 For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun." Ecc9:4 The dead are alive and subjected to their allotment according to their sins. Some will burn longer but not eternally.
