Katyusha Rockets are Russian WW2 Technology. There are unguided fire and forget weapons. Trying to shoot one down would be like trying to shoot a bottle rocket out of the air.

It could just be lone ranger acts, and not something that is authorized by the government... If Israel knows this all they can do now is wait and decide if the Egyptian government is doing something to stop the launches from its territory.

While it's simple to think of this as a regional conflict it has the ability to become a global conflict, and it might not be that soon that it gets so bad that a formerly alpha male of some illuminate society ends up sucking dick for a can of soup
