Three jets in formation above Pittsburgh skies? Pics

Had some FB friends posting pics of same aircraft.

We saw them too. We took some pics of them also. My boyfriend is from the Moon area and is used to seeing them there. But all the way over here? Anyone find anything else out about why there were flying last night?

Saw them last night in the clear sky over Butler, PA. Yep, right at 5 pm. Traveling basically west to east. Incredible sight with the trails illuminated by the low sun in the west sky, and with the sliver of a moon in the background as well. I've never seen such a sight. Too bad I had no camera at that moment. The brightly illuminated and thick condensation trails really made this stand out. There was another single jet far above them for a while, on a similar but not same trajectory. I assumed that was a commercial airliner. Usually when I see planes at the height the 3 were, I can hear them. No sound though. Stealths? I was hoping nothing big was happening. The sun came up today, so I suppose all is well (well enough).

i am also from butler pa, i have seen others who have taken pictures of the same thing ---

but at night, every night, i see at least 4, sometimes 6 flying flashing lights in the sky outside my house, probably jets/planes/helicopter, i just dont understand why there's so many every night when there never used to be, 3 of them formed a perfect triangle formation in the sky the one night, but since then ive checked and every night i can see 3 or 4 flying around.
