First calibers I ever shot were 22 and 38.

22 scared the crap out of me, I guess I was a wuss. 38, scared the crap out of me even more.

It helps if you pull the hammer back before shooting, if its a revolver. *noob tip

Cheers. target shooting is a lot of fun. I wish I could do it more often.
