The Gold Coast and much of Brisbane is built upon swamp land, so nothing unusual about flooding either. The Aboriginals knew about these areas of risk, but we built on them.. Category 1 cyclones aren't Super Storms in Australia either, the Gold Coast always got them from memory living up there.. |

Not much rain but the thunder just doesn't stop, and yes this is pretty normal for us but it is nice to give the otherside of world some realtime reports and like above, know what to expect approx when. |
