I started a thread like this and ended up with a Ruger 10/22 with $400+ of goodies. The theory is that .22lr ammo is largely available, but both Walmarts by me are almost completely out. I bought the last of an entire case of CCI Quiet rounds. But they have a shit ton of 12-gauge rounds falling off the shelves. I forsee an 870 or 500 in my future.

Any gun is better than no gun, unless you don't have ammo. In which case, it better look and sound scary as fuck!
