My favorite is the caramel - it's got the awesome fake white cream just like a twinkie...

I'm thinking I should buy a box of Twinkies while they're still around. And not open them. And put them in the freezer for the next 10 to 15 years. Then sell them on eBay or whatever they have 15 years from now for a small fortune. But then again they wouldn't be edible, what with severe freezer burn and such. Probably better if I just leave them on the counter. The preservatives should keep them nice and fresh for decades.

In addition to our Joe Louis lip smacking goodness, the Canadian division of Hostess will continue to produce your beloved Twinkies.

twinkies are terrible. I had one a few months back, and they taste like crap. Most sugary rolls taste like crap anyways.

I drove a Vachon truck for awhile in the 90's. Made myself sick eating all of that stuff. Lol. Couldn't eat any of their products for a few years.

Considering Twinkies are a staple of American culture, they will not be going away for long. Hostess, however will not continue to manufacture the various baked goods but rest assured, someone will buy the rights to keep producing the cakes. The names might change but in essence, the ingredients will. Maybe someone in China will buy the rights and the new goods will come with a "Made in China" stamp embedded on them on the bottom of the cakes..

Those look more like a Ho-Ho substitute but that's a good start.
