Diabetes causes frequent urination, you may try a low carb diabetes diet. I lost a lot of weight following the 'mastering leptin' plan from this video which is also helpful in curing diabetes.

You mention the urination is associated with ice cream. That does sound like eliminating all simple sugars from your diet would help a lot. Low carb diets are really not that hard, I would get a bag of unflavored whey protein off amazon. The one I get is in a big orange container from NOW Foods. It's unflavored so it doesn't have any extra junk in it.

I would be fed up and relent and go to a doctor and it would try taking salt out of my diet.

Your body is acidic (acidosis),,,read up and get some books on the acid / alkaline diet (much veggies, less meat, no refined starches like white bread / pasta / white rice...),,your body will return to the alkaline side and these things will clear up, it will take time...check out e-bay books for acid / alkaline diet books....

I eat a shitload of carbs and pasta. Always have, though.

Had chicken fried rice lastnight and veggies. Peed all night and this morning. I know my ph is a mess, though.

Two good books:
Alkalize or Die by Dr. Theodore A. Baroody
and
The Acid-Alkaline Diet for Optimum Health
Christopher Vasey, N.D.

Yeah, you're full of pastas and white breads etc., and probably white pizza crust...my niece has horrific kidney and urinary problems, and that's all she eats.

No, protein acidifies the body...you need lots of green leafy veggies, veggies of all kinds, raw and cooked. See the books I mentioned above....good to start by avoiding all white flour products / white sugars / and reduce the meat, although you do need meet for protein - it acidifies, but you balance your plate 80% / 20% veggies / meat.

only mentioned the ice cream cos that triggers a weird daytime version of the night peeing issue, and its extreme volume all in extreme short amount of time. i dont eat ice cream alot. pretty rarely. just noticed it the last few times while at work and grabbing a couple bites of some of it. i work at a restaurant. as far as sugars go, like that, i dont consume often. the peeing thing is mainly a thing that happens at night time. or something around that time makes it 10 times more frequent and intense and more so. doesnt even matter if my sleep schedule is reversed or what. or laying down now or what. its just.... alot of peeing going on from 9pm to 3am. i'll feel hungover the next day. seriously.. hungover. minus vomiting. and terrible worn out. from the peeing and probably dehydration. but i wont be thirsty at all. thats whats weird.

as for MS... i know what you're saying. i just really highly doubt i have that. but its all stuff i can look into once i get health insurance. i'll have a whole list for them. heh. if i could jst manage to get a CBC blood test alone as a starter, even now.. it could be a start. or just at first rule out any new sugars and kidney issues that werent there before, right off the bat.

I agree with the acid/alkaline diet advice. You should be eating more starchy foods in the morning like potatoes so that you get a slow release of carbs throughout the day to counter your hyperinsulin levels. AND OMFG!!!--Get away from the energy drinks and sodas!!!!! I can't believe it when I see or hear of insulin-problematic people still drinking that crap! The carbonation acidifies your body and the high fructose corn syrup is destroying your poor pancreas!!!!

But, to have symptoms like that... wouldnt it have to be sugars WAY higher than ...... 120? normally my levels are low. i get low blood sugar attacks just as i did as a kid still today. if i skip a meal... or breakfast.... omg... i get all shaky... dizzy, weak.. sweaty, nervous.. out of it. i eat something... carbs, proteins.. orange juice, milk... i am then fine. theres been times my sugars dropped really low really fast and i'll be at work and the only thing i can grab is a stupid soda... and i'll do that if my sugar is dropping low really fast and no other alternative.... i'll feel better real quick but then i get that icky feeling, and i dont pee like with the ice cream, but my sugar will later drop crash later on... 2 hrs later or less. but thats only IF i drink soda on an empty stomach. if i drink it with an actual meal.. and a decent meal (at a restaurant, i may rarely get a soda now.) i'll be fine. i can feel my sugars rise a bit, iof its lunch. my sugars feel low in morning.

There is something causing this because it is not normal. If your A1C is fine, you should see a renal specialist and get your kidneys checked.

You may also have an allergy and after kidneys probs are ruled out and allergy specialist could help out.

Another thing that would be important is a heavy metals test on your blood. You may have a high lead, mercury, aluminum count which has left your system toxic.

Just make sure your starchy foods are whole grain 100%. For starting though, just do the veggies and meat (reducing the meat portion to 20%), stay away from dairy / cheese / all refined grains, even white rice--eat brown rice.
From your description of yourself, I would have to say you are too young for these things, still have periods etc., so you must not have been very watchful of your diet in the past to get to this point,,,but begin now, and in 6 months you will be a new person...by the way asparagus is one of the most alkalizing foods there is....get some, and include with your veggies each day....

oh the energy drink thing was the only time. i dont drink energy drinks. only have had maybe 3 in my whole lifetime. LOL. red bull a couple times back while doing classes in 2006. and hardly drank any of it. was nasty. and 5 hour energy lastyear at work when they gave us samples and it was a really stressful week there and day and i was tired and decided to try it. worst mistake. so dont worry. lol

i agree with you about the carbs in the morning. i usually do that with my breakfasts. carbs/proteins to keep me going cos i go all the rest of the day without eating til usually dinner. work is a pain in the butt and we dont get actual breaks half the time or time for a break. restaurant industry.

if youre not drinking anything much then how on earth could you be producing so much fluid?

and if that truly is the case and youre not drinking, then you would become dehydrated

how is your body producing this fluid? from what?

seriously, it simply doesnt sound logical

My first thought that has stayed with me through reading the whole thread is dairy allergy. I've never heard of this particular symptom with it, but your ice cream reaction may have been your body trying to send you a loud message.

When you start avoiding dairy, you will be shocked at how much of it you were consuming that you were unaware of.

Dairy derivatives are put into just about everything that doesn't come directly off a tree, bush, vine, or straight off the animal. Avoid lunchmeats. They have a lot of dairy stuff in them.

Give up or slow down on coffee. It's a major diuretic.

Where do you work? Around what kind of food? Could you have a latex allergy? Allergies are strange things. Not all symptoms are typical.

Try taking a spoonful of honey before bedtime and throughout the day. It's an oldfashioned cure for bedwetting, prostate night peeing, and helps your body redistribute water levels without shooting it all straight to the bladder.

Get to a incontinence clinic as soon as you can manage. These docs know kidney/urinary tract disorders.
