Mammoth security patch rushed out for Adobe Acrobat and Reader

 Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Mammoth security patch rushed out for Adobe Acrobat and Reader Adobe has issued a security bulletin urging users of its Adobe PDF Reader and Acrobat products to update their software before hackers take advantage of at least 23 vulnerabilities in the software. In a clear sign of the seriousness posed by the security holes (at least one of which is being actively exploited by cybercriminals), the updates were issued ahead of Adobe's regular quarterly schedule. Adobe Reader 9.3.4 (and earlier versions) for Windows, Mac OS X and UNIX, Adobe Acrobat 9.3.4 (and earlier versions) for Windows and Mac OS X, and Adobe Reader 8.2.4 (and earlier versions) and Adobe Acrobat 8.2.4 (and earlier versions) for Windows and Mac OS X are all vulnerable to the security flaws, which could potentially allow a hacker to take control of users' computers.
