My gf is an assistant manager here at a gas station/convenience store in the Mid Atlantic area of the US. She told me yesterday to fill up and keep my car full because they haven't got their resupply of fuel in, and don't know when they will.

She just texted me now and told me the same thing again that they were told they are not sure when they will be getting any more fuel in. This isn't a little mom and pop gas station company, it has stores up and down the east coast. Now has anyone heard of gas shortages hitting other place other than New Jersey, New York?

Like Pennsylvania?

I haven't heard Nything lately. KEEP US POSTED.

But I do "collect" gas because I expect it. Guess I'm not the only one either because I wanted to buy my kids some gas cans and 2 stores were sold out.

Well as far as I know right now, 5 of their stores have ran out of gas, because the trucks haven't delivered.

My mom works at Sam's Club so I asked her about their supply, and she said they have got their supply of gas each day this week like they normally do. So who knows what's up.

This is sort of on/off subject...but I had to go to wally world this afternoon and was going to buy a couple more cases of water...they were out...all brands...gone...guess people are starting to prep in full force...

even when our area was flooded a couple years ago and we could not use the water, wally world had enough bottled water on hand..and our town/area is around 50,000...just interesting that there was no water on shelves, but there was when city water was contaminated...they were even giving out cases for free then...

I know, they were probably stocking more for that situation, but..still...shit is getting real, people..

The news has it covered up here now in PA, it's the Sheetz gas stations, they have ran out of regular gas in most of their gas stations here in PA.

The news talked to a spokesperson from Sheetz who stated because of Sandy the refineries closed down, and are now getting back online but since there is so much demand, they are having trouble getting their shipments to PA, because Jersey and New York come first.

LMAO OP. You better believe. There is really no reason that a hurricane disrupted the supply of gasoline and energy to the NE US, unless its, ummmmmmm, a coverup for some deeper problem of why the NE US and the rest of the country has trouble gettting gas and electric resupplies.

Trust me, I had to go through that shit!
