This dream is symbolic of being attacked - Bears in scripture represent curses. This dream is about curses coming against you from the enemy. I believe the Lord is about to teach you how to tear down strongholds and curses in your life. Others may jeer at the spiritual warfare you are learning or not believe in the depths of the spiritual realm, but God is going to teach you how to come against the enemy. Guns represent 'shooting words' or in this case, using words to defend yourself.
New York is symbolic of a place of testing
