I have never really been clear about what "fearmongering" actually meant, but I do understand that many people simply cannot deal with anything that is not uplifting and happy. Those types should certainly avoid places like GLP for obvious reasons.

Many, many people spend the bulk of their time entertaining themselves with sitcoms, reality shows, love stories and other simple distractions so that they can remain "happy" and not compromise their self-esteem. If that is the kind of person you are, by all means go for it, you have my blessings and I truly hope you find peace in it. I would never tell someone else how to spend their free time, so don't presume to tell me how to spend mine. Just go away quietly. Thank you.
