Out weighed him 5 or 6 times? Are you dumb or just not good at math? The dead guy prob weighed anywhere from 135-160. Lets say he weighed 140. 5 times his weight would be 700lbs. Those 2 cops do not weigh 700lbs. The woman, 180-200. The man maybe around 230-250. The dead guy was out in the middle of the road, yelling at cars as they drove by, high as fuck. He seemed calm until the man showed up. Then he probably thought it would be okay to fight. Don't blame the cops for provoking him for being too rough when cuffing him. If you think they're too rough, stfu and go quietly and have your lawyer look into it. Don't fight back, that is never going to end well. Everyone says he was running away. He wasn't. He was running to get into the patrol car and drive away.

I will say shooting him was unnecessary. That's what tasers are for.

Let's see; the fat male is about 270. The fat female is 290. That makes 560. The victim was about 140. So the two hogs, together, outweighed the victim 4:1.

Another point about the fat male. Let's say he weighs 270. A man who is a solid 270 would be difficult to contend with. The punches from the 140 pounder should have just bounced off of him with no effect.

But let's say the 270 pounder is in reality, a 140 pounder trapped under 130 pounds of excess blubber. The trapped 140 pounder can barely carry the excess 130 pounds. That's why he can't walk straight. He probably falls down a lot. The punches from the other 140 pounder, the one without the 130 pounds of excess blubber, took a toll.

Not to mention cops wear vests that make their upper body seem bigger. No word yet on whether her ass is vested up.

If she's 5' 10", and with her frame, she would have to be much thinner to weigh 180. At 180, a big boned female such as her would actually be fairly thin. With her huge ass and legs, though, she's closer to 290.

No way dude. Pause the video at the end where she is right infront of the car and you can see he face. Look at her stomach. She doesn't have a gut. Even with the best her upper body doesn't look that fat. . Just a big ass and big thighs. I don't think you realize how woman's bodies are built. Vegetarianism doesn't provide the needed fats and protein that the brain and body needs, so they end up not being able to think properly and vote for Obama...on top of it they are likely to do drugs because their system craves proper nutrients and since they refuse to eat meat they turn to other chemicals...those are the people calling the cops fat and say they were wrong to shoot the crack head that punched them and ran...

I'm not trying to argue that the individual was innocent in any way. This is one where I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt to the cops. But this part of your statement troubles me greatly.
Wouldn't it be more correct to say, "what the officer claimed they were thinking or feeling at the time". I mean, the "coming right for us" mentality is easy to claim after the fact, especially in this case where the individual was off screen. It could have been equally likely in this case, all possible results considered that the individual could have a) picked up a rock, stick or other more harmful weapon and was advancing, b) continued to run off, not changing direction and just continue running, c) tried jumping into the cop car to foment mass mayhem, d) stopped and turned around with their hands up, or any other possible action. "D" might be not as likely, depending on the circumstances, but if the perp was 21, and just wanted for disorderly conduct, as another poster mentioned, it is feasible that the situation just got out of hand too quickly.
My main gripe is that all we are going off of in this instance is that the officer is "claiming" that she felt threatened. There is no video to prove that this statement is true. This seems to be a frequent thing in these shootings, where there is less than 100% evidence.
Again, the officer probably was in the right, but is there any true accountability for veracity in most of these cases?
