Are you saying you expect the Moon to set in the East? UM NO.. saying it appeared far to the west for it to be so early in the evening.. and half as big as it was the night before..that's all.. You mean you didn't know that the Moon sets at a different time each day? That on average it rises and sets about 50 minutes later each day as it progresses through its phases? That the crescent Moon is ALWAYS near the Sun?
