If constant observation of citizens was occurring, and the 24/7 hour OBS of say, 10 people, was the standard for one observer-full-time-equivalaent (3.5 employees) then the Gov't could employ about 80 million "observers" to watch 310 million citizens. Of course, the employees would necessarily be low-wage English speakers in far-away countries.

They only need to watch a fraction of 1%. The persons of interest. NSA has a large budget.

Anyone seen the commercial.. which I think might even be for a TV, where the couple is in the bathroom, and there's a big screen TV in there, and she gets out of the shower with a towel on and looks at the TV and says "I feel like it's watching me while I'm naked."

I disable the camera and mic under device manager...

I still have tape over them because I still don't trust the software to totally disable them.
