We've used this recently on Diwali while praying to goddess Lakshami. In the other world, symbols are understood better and quickly. You dont need many words to get your message across to the god. If you draw a swastika, the gods would know immediately what you're asking for. |

Of course, all our symbols are inherently void of meaning in and of themselves. It is we who impute meaning to them. (And that seems to bother a whole lot of people for some reason) The test of character is how you're willing to treat someone when you are absolutely certain that you are right. |
